That was long before the Conservatives formed government. <BR/><BR/>It is about time though. In Alberta we have some very strict rules. Unless the MLA is the guest speaker or representing their constituency IN the constituency or at an event where the constituency needs representation they pay for their own tickets - especially for anything social. <BR/><BR/>All of these events are itemized - ones where the member attends and pays his or her own way are also itemized with proof of payment if needed. <BR/><BR/>Business is conducted at the places of business.
