A group claiming to be affiliated with Al-Qaeda has claimed responsibility for the London subway bombings, Bloomberg News has reported:
While Al-Qaeda is the most likely suspect in any terror attack today, keep in mind that terrorist groups at times claim responsibility for attacks that they did not carry out, as a way of calling attention to their cause and threatening people.
Given the increasingly violent rhetoric coming from hardcore anti-globalization activists, it is quite possible that the bombers might have come from the ranks of these mouthy punks protesting the G8 summit in Scotland.
Or worse--that Islamic terrorists and hard-left activists have joined forces.
