This is what the Liberal Party has been reduced to: a choice between two people who can't order a hot dog between them in French, and who wouldn't even be in the party if Stephen Harper hadn't been standing in the way of their ambitions.
This actually could be confirmation that the Liberals have finally given up on Quebec in favour of solidifying their urban Ontario base. Just as the old Tory party cared less about its leaders' fluency in French because the party was going nowhere in Quebec, the new Ontario and immigrant base of the Liberals probably doesn't care much either.
