The head of Toronto's licencing department and her younger, married boyfriend, have both been fired.
Officially, for promoting cronyism in the department by hiring friends and relatives over qualified unconnected applicants.
Unofficially, for embarrassing the city with their hanky-panky.
They don't get severance pay, either, unlike David Dingwall.
David Miller may be an effete champagne socialist, but at least he knows when to lower the boom.
