Degree Without Distinction

Today, universities consider denying honorary degrees to accomplished persons who express the slightest opposition to elements of the progressive social engineering plan, such as Margaret Somerville because of her opposition to homosexual "marriage."

Tomorrow, will universities deny ordinary degrees to their own students on the same grounds?

Count on it.

D&D, Carleton University DID refuse to give radio host and Ottawa mainstay Rabbi Bulka an honourary award because of his beliefs on the subject of Gay Marriage.

It isn't just a "they wouldn't have" anymore....it is actually "They didn't"

It was to happen at this years convocation but they scrapped him when they found out he has worked with an organization that works with people who are gay but want to not be gay.

And yet UWO had no problem giving Henry Morgentaler an honourary degree in spite of a huge outcry from the community. Universities have become a hot-bed of social engineering and leftist breeding.

Dr. Bulka received his honorary degree on June 13.

Not all of us were happy about it; but the main issue was his unsavoury association with NARTH (q.v.), not his views on SSM
