More than 70% of eligible voters in Iraq turned out for the first election of a permanent parliament.
Barely 60% turned out for our last election, and if the weather turns bad, we won't even see that this election.
We're more afraid of snow and cold than the Iraqis are of bullets and bombs, and it will show.
People really do appreciate the freedom to vote more, when they've experienced the alternative.
Let us hope that we will be as resolute as the people of Iraq in fighting for and defending our right to have a regime change.
